Matthew’s story

Matthew was two and a half years old when he came to the Niagara Peninsula Children’s Centre. He had very limited mobility and was not even able to crawl let alone walk. In September of that year, he entered the pre school program and by June of the next year, with concentrated therapy, Matthew started to walk. He is now a very happy young boy with an amazing personality and enjoys many sports.

NPCC Success Stories

In September 2010, 67 youngsters with physical or communicative disabilities from across the Niagara Peninsula started classes at the NPCC School. 48 of these students were new. Why so many? Because miracles do happen at NPCC.  In June, 52 students, because of therapy they had received at NPCC and the school, had sufficiently advanced enough to be transitioned into the regular school systems in Niagara. These are just a few of many examples of how funds raised for the NPCC will result in a long term positive investment in bettering the lives of hundreds of Niagara’s children with special needs.
